Our Guest House nestles in a scenic valley, overlooked by the Simonside Hills, only a short drive from Rothbury and 20 -30 minutes or so from Alnwick and the coast, right in the heart of Northumberland, surrounded by meadows, woods and streams Here you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of our beautiful countryside. Close by is the Northumberland National Park. We are about 50 minutes from Newcastle, an hour to Durham, Hexham and Edinburgh and 40 minutes to Berwick.
Ever seen the magnificence of a star filled sky and the wonder of the Milky Way, we have nothing to pollute these skies and can enjoy this awesome scene.
Here the welcome is warm and friendly and we hope that it will soon feel just like home. The local village of Netherton is but a stroll away, home to the award winning Star Inn, famous for the quality of its' traditional ale.
We can honestly say that none of our Guests' have been disappointed, in fact, the opposite, delighted with the house, rooms, facilities and the area.
